BAKER, RICHARD (1741-1818)

Richard Baker, escritor teológico inglés, nació en 1741 y murió en 1818. Fue educado en Pembroke College, Cambridge, donde se graduó en 1762, obtuvo la maestría en 1765 y el doctorado en teología en 1788. Fue elegido para una membresía en su universidad y en 1772 se presentó a la rectoría de Cawston-with-Portland en Norfolk, que tuvo hasta su muerte en 1818. Sus obras son: How the Knowledge of Salvation is attainable, un sermón sobre Si alguien quiere hacer su voluntad, sabrá si mi enseñanza es de Dios o si hablo de mí mismo.[…]Juan 7:17, 1782; The Harmony or Agreement of the Four Evangelists, in four parts, Londres, 1783-87; The Psalms of David Evangelized, wherein are seen the Unity of Divine Truth, the Harmony of the Old and New Testament, and the peculiar Doctrines of Christianity, in agreement with the Experience of Believers in all Ages, Londres, 1811.
