Las obras de Bourne fueron: The Rainbow, Sermon at St. Paul's Cross. 10 June 1617, on Gen. ix. 13, Londres, 1617; dedicado a Robert, primer barón Spencer de Wormleighton; The Godly Man's Guide, on James iv. 13, Londres, 1620; The True Way of a Christian to the New Jerusalem... on 2 Cor. v. 17, Londres, 1622; Anatomy of Conscience, sermón en Derby, sobre Y vi un gran trono blanco y al que estaba sentado en él, de cuya presencia huyeron la tierra y el cielo, y no se halló lugar para ellos.[…]Apocalipsis 20:11, Londres, 1623; A Light from Christ leading unto Christ, by the Star of His Word; or, a Divine Directory for Selfexamination and Preparation for the Lord's Supper, Londres, 1645; Defence of Scriptures, a la que se añadió Vindication of the Honour due to the Magistrates, Ministers, and others, Londres, 1656. Esta obra describe una disputa entre un clérigo y James Nayler, el cuáquero. El argumento de Bourne contra el cuáquero fue contestado por George Fox en The Great Mystery of the Great Whore unfolded, 1659; Defence and Justification of Ministers' Maintenance by Tithes, and of Infant Baptism, Humane Learning, and the Sword of the Magistrate, in a reply to a paper by some Anabaptists sent to Im.
