John Brownrig fue rector de Easton Parva, Essex, del 22 de abril de 1634 hasta 1639 y de Easton Magna desde el 9 de noviembre de 1639. Fue autor de Concerning Publike Prayer and the Fasts of the Church: six sermons and tractate, 2 partes, Londres, 1636.
