DIX, MORGAN (1827-1908)

Morgan Dix nació en Nueva York el 1 de noviembre de 1827 y murió allí el 29 de abril de 1908.

Se graduó en Columbia College en 1848 y en General Theological Seminary en 1852. Fue ordenado diácono en la Iglesia episcopal protestante en 1852 y presbítero en 1853, siendo rector ayudante de St. Mark, Filadelfia (1853-55); fue coadjutor de Trinity Church, Nueva York, hasta 1859, cuando fue rector ayudante y rector en 1862. Fue presidente del Standing Comittee de la diócesis de Nueva York, un entramado de muchas instituciones, y miembro de numerosos e importantes comités.
