SCOTT, JOHN (1639-1695)
Además de doce sermones publicados separadamente y predicados en ocasiones públicas, escribió: The Christian Life from its beginning to its Consummation in Glory... with directions for private devotion and forms of prayer fitted to the several states of Christians (Londres, 1681); Certain Cases of Conscience concerning the Lawfulness of Joyning with Forms of Prayer in Public Worship (1683); The Eight Note of the Church examined, viz. Sanctity of Doctrine (Londres, 1688); The texts examined which papists cite out of the Bible for the proof of their doctrine and for prayers in an unknown tongue (1688); Practical Discourses upon Several Subjects (2 volúmenes, Londres, 1687-8). Scott escribió un prefacio para la segunda edición de los sermones de J. March y sus Works, con el sermón fúnebre predicado a su muerte por Zacheus Isham, fueron recopiladas en 1718.
