THWING, CHARLES FRANKLIN (1853-1937)

Charles Franklin Twing, congregacional americano, nació en New Sharon, Maine, el 9 de noviembre de 1853 y murió en Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, el 29 de agosto de 1937.

Se graduó de Harvard (1876) y del Seminario Teológico de Andover (1879). Luego fue pastor de la iglesia congregacional North Avenue, Cambridge, Massaschusetts (1879-86), y de la iglesia Plymouth, Minneapolis, Minnesota (1886-90), y desde 1890 fue presidente de Western Reserve University y Adalbert College, Cleveland, Ohio. Fue editor de The Chicago Advance en 1888-91 y luego editor asociado de Bibliotheca Sacra.
