Udall fue autor de: Communion Comlinesse. Wherein is discovered the conveniency of the peoples drawing neere to the Table in the sight thereof when they receive the Lords Supper. Parliament, concerning the Booke of Common Prayer, and Episcopall Government (anónimo), Oxford, 1642, publicado también con el título The Bishop of Armaghes Direction, concerning the Lyturgy, and Episcopall Government, Londres, 1642. El tratado fue desaprobado por Ussher y la autoría es correctamente atribuida a Udall.
