WRIGHT, THEODORE FRANCIS (1845-1907)

Theodore Francis Wright nació en Dorchester, Massachusetts, el 3 de agosto de 1845 y murió en el mar cerca de Alejandría, Egipto, el 13 de noviembre de 1907. Se graduó en Harvard (licenciatura en humanidades, 1866) y en New Church Theological School (luego en Waltha, Massachusetts, 1868); en 1864-65 sirvió en el ejército de la Unión como teniente del 108 regimiento de voluntarios; tras terminar sus estudios fue pastor de la iglesia de la Nueva Jerusalén (swedenborgiana) en Bridgewater, Massachusetts, (1868-1889) y tras 1889 fue deán de New Church Theological School en Cambridge, Massachusetts, donde fue profesor de historia tras 1884. Fue también secretario de Palestine Exploration Fund tras 1890. Además de editar The New Church Review tras 1893, escribió The Realities of Heaven (Nueva York, 1880); Life Eternal (Boston, 1885); The Human and its Relation to the Divine (Filadelfia, 1892) y Psalms from Swedenborg's Latin Translations (Germantown, Pensilvania, 1900).
